The formalwear industry, and high fashion on the runway, produce high amounts of textile waste each year, through clothing worn once and never again. Through the substitution of typical textiles with soft plastic, I aim to not only reduce the waste of textiles within the high fashion industry, but also the increasingly relevant issue of soft plastic waste.
